At The Nest Community School, we are committed to supporting families in every aspect of their child’s development. We offer parenting classes that provide valuable insights into child development, one-on-one consultations to help with specific challenges, and brain development assessments to track your child’s progress. For added convenience, we also provide babysitting services, giving parents a much-needed break, and host parenting group meet-ups, where families can connect, share experiences, and build community. Whether you’re looking for guidance, support, or just a sense of belonging, we’re here to help.
Babysitting Movie Nights
Planning a date night or just craving a quiet evening at home? Let us take care of the babysitting! With trained and experienced teachers, you can relax knowing your child is in a safe and trusted environment. Friends, families, and neighbors are welcome to join, with spots available for children ages 2 and older. Please bring a packed dinner or have your child eat beforehand.
Your child will enjoy a fun-filled evening with activities, dancing, a movie, and more—all while you enjoy your well-deserved time off! Proceeds benefit The Nest Community School’s operations and programming. Suggested donation of $30-$40 per child.
Potty Training Consultation
You might potty train 1, 2, or maybe 3 children in your lifetime—but at The Nest, with our combined expertise, we’ve guided over 1,000 children through this milestone! Let us share our tried-and-true tips and help you navigate potty training quickly and smoothly. For just $50 per session, we offer personalized potty training consultations—whether in the comfort of your own home or at our program. No more guessing or stressing, we’re here to help you get started and stay on track!

Parenting classes:
Foundations of Learning: A Parent’s Guide to Brain Development
This hybrid class is designed for parents of children ages 0-6 and focuses on attachment parenting, respectful communication, and the ways your child’s changing brain shapes what they need at each stage of early childhood. Backed by the latest research, this class draws from a wide range of trusted parenting resources, giving you a deep understanding of your child’s growing mind. You’ll learn how your 18-month-old’s needs differ from your 4-year-old’s, and which parenting strategies best support their development at each stage.
In this course, you’ll also gain the tools to know when to hold a boundary or limit and when to model flexibility and empathy, especially during moments of dysregulation. Through interactive lessons, you’ll walk away with practical strategies for fostering emotional regulation, building social-emotional skills, and strengthening your relationship with your child—all while modeling a healthy family dynamic.
